How It Got Started
The Guilty Reader was conceived from a random thought during a shower. The idea behind making it a community weblog is fueled by my passion for writing. I write about my thoughts, what interests me, what interests others and I wanted to share all of my thoughts with my readers. The GuIlty Reader will provide a platform for anyone alike to express their views and opinions published through articles and blogs to be read by the world and recognized.
The Guilty Reader is truly my own little passion project, gaining more and more traction each day. I hope you enjoy browsing my site and all of the unique content it has to offer. Take a look around; perhaps you’ll discover what fuels you as well.
My name is Aakash Karikalan. I am a 22-year-old Indian with a passion for reading and writing. I'm a graduate of B.Tech Aerospace engineering. Just like any average Indian with an engineering degree, I, too, seek a career anywhere but near the confines of engineering. I'm currently pursuing my dream of becoming an Indian Civil Servant.
The Guilty Reader was born out of my love and passion for books. The main purpose is to pen my own thoughts and write what I feel. It could be about a book I read or an important social issue in my niche or a random banter of ideas/emotions just because I can. I'm also working on building a community of people around me that share my same passion for books. The Guilty Reader is intended to be a healthy space for reader and writers alike to post their blogs and voice their opinions because Opinion Matters.
In the era of climate change and global warming, I still prefer my physical books over ebook. I am a Guilty Reader.
